Benefit Auctioneer Alyce Blum

Alyce R. Blum is a proud Denver Native and graduated from Denver East High School and The University of Colorado at Boulder. Her desire to connect with people from all over the world started at a young age when she lived abroad in Guayaquil, Ecuador at the age of sixteen. In College, she became fluent in Spanish and lived abroad for her entire junior year in Madrid, Spain.  Being a part of different cultures, having to learn a new language, and putting herself in many challenging situations, have given Alyce the tools to build trust, relatability, and deep connections with humans no matter their race, religion, or ethnicity.

Alyce thrives on the power of human connection and has run two successful businesses. For seven years, Alyce ran a coaching and consulting firm focused on helping professionals learn how to network and realize what she calls a 'RON' or Return on Networking. Alyce has created specialized networking curriculums, facilitates group sessions, and is a keynote speaker sharing practical tools to help people learn HOW to network and see a RON. 

Currently, Alyce is the Co-Founder of Articulated Intelligence, which is a communication up-leveling firm. Alyce and her business partners have created and trademarked The With 1 Word Storytelling Methodology, which gives people the tools to search, shape, and share personal stories for professional settings so that their messages connect and move their audience to action.

Alyce is an active member of the Denver non-profit community and has sat on multiple boards because she knows that without these organizations many people and communities would not exist. She is the proud mother to a 5-year-old daughter and the proud 'bonus mom' to a 16-year-old son.  She enjoys cooking, yoga and is attempting stand-up comedy since humor is a universal language that can connect us all.
